Ti-6Al-4V is the alloy the aerospace industry runs on, at 90% titanium. Our heat-treated frameworks reach over 900 MPa yield strength with more than 8% elongation after fracture. Against cobalt-chrome it is about half the weight and more than 300 MPa stronger in yield (over 900 MPa against 600), it is biocompatible and hypoallergenic, and being non-magnetic it does not interfere with MRI.

Design review is optional. Ask for it and we send the design for your approval before anything goes into production.

Production
We produce the dental metal framework in your selected material: Cobalt-Chrome (CoCr) or Titanium (Ti).

What labs ask before their first case.
- What does the price include?
- Design and the resin model are included in every price. There is no separate design fee and no charge for the model.
- Do I have to approve the design first?
- Only if you want to. The form has a button for it: choose “send the design for my approval first” and nothing goes into production until you say so. Leave it off and we go straight to production.
- Cobalt-Chrome or titanium?
- Titanium alloy weighs roughly half what cobalt-chrome does at the same volume, and it is biocompatible and corrosion-resistant, which is why patients with metal sensitivities are usually put in titanium. Cobalt-chrome is the long-standing choice for porcelain work and comes in at 8.6 g/cm³ with 600 MPa yield strength, rated by the manufacturer for spans up to 16 units. Tell us the case and we will tell you which we would use. Precious metals (platinum and silver) we print on request: email us the case first.
